Water in Vancouver, Canada, turns blood red: |
Although I am not a biblical scholar, as anyone who
reads my blog with any regularity will know that I am a student of current
events. The past several years have placed me on a quest to find out the truth
about precisely what is creating the massive changes taking place all across
our planet, changes that affect us all.
More recent news items have troubled me, mainly
because of an uncomfortable familiarity with records of events from the ancient
history of our planet. Events began popping up that I recognized from a source
familiar to most of us, because many of my peers grew up with these stories
being told to us. It should be logical then that large segments of the
population would recognize the stories immediately as well, but in today's
self-absorbed, social media driven, selfie-taking, shallow emptiness, that is
not the case. The events happening today also happened thousands of years ago,
and the survivors who witnessed them were so traumatized by what they endured,
they wrote it all down for future generations to read. They explained the
events in the language of the time, without the benefit of the scientific
knowledge we possess today. Consequently, their words of wisdom became myths
and legends, outlandish stories that could not have possibly taken place. Or
could they?
Are the Plagues of Egypt happening today?
Are the Plagues of Egypt happening today?
I'll reiterate I am not a biblical scholar or even
an overtly-religious person, I have simply made the connection with recent
stories "In the News" that seem to me at least to be directly from
the story of the 10 Plagues of Egypt in the Book of Exodus.
Case in Point: Illinois Town Sees Creepy Snake Invasion!
Although not technically one of the
plagues of Egypt, in a show of strength and power to the Pharaohs, Moses turns
his staff into a serpent, which in turn eats the serpents the Pharaoh's
magicians also made from their staffs.
Case #2: Water into Blood: Exodus: 7:19 And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood.
Case #3: Frogs:
Exodus 8:2: And if thou refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all thy borders with frogs:
Thunder and Hail
9:18 Behold, to morrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as hath not been in Egypt since the foundation thereof even until now.Case #5: There have been many stories of awe-inspiring hail storms, especially over the past year. This recent video out of Siberia, however, takes the cake: A group of beach-goers enjoying a day in the sun must suddenly run for their lives when an apocalyptic hail storm turns a beautiful day into a living nightmare (two young children were killed by this hail storm, it should be noted):
Thunder? Well, the "freak" lightning storm on a California beach last week that killed one and left dozens injured, could certainly count here:
Case #6: Locusts: 10:4 Else, if thou refuse to let my people go, behold, to morrow will I bring the locusts into thy coast, and they shall cover the face of the earth.
There have been several notable examples of this recently, including a locust invasion in Madagascar that threatens to create a famine on the island as well as a grasshopper invasion in New Mexico so large, the swarm showed up on weather radar!
Case #7: Recent news items regarding worrying livestock diseases (the 5th plague) and plagues involving boils and the death of the firstborn son could be attributed to the mutations of diseases of the time (Ebola scare, as well as flesh-eating bacteria killing people in Florida.)
And finally, Case #8: Darkness:
And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days.
What recent events could give an insight to what
caused "3 days of darkness"? Do you remember this "once in a
thousand year event" from February of last year? Perhaps you conveniently
forgot about it.
The meteor that exploded over Siberia in February
2013 with the force of several hundred atomic bombs also created a debris field
high in the atmosphere that traveled the world in the matter of a few
days. If the meteor had actually hit the
earth instead of detonating high in the atmosphere, it would have created a
huge crater, with trillions of tons of ejecta entering the atmosphere. The
dirt, dust and debris from the impact crater would fill the skies, blotting out
the sun for days, weeks, perhaps even months.
What else could cause a similar event? Certainly,
the eruption of a large volcano could eject enough ash into the skies to create
this scenario. Remember that unpronounceable Icelandic volcano that
erupted, Eyjafjallajökull?
Its eruption halted air traffic over Europe for a
week due to the massive ash cloud generated, which caused hundreds of billions
of dollars in loses to the global economy. Then there's the worrying uptick of
seismic activity at Yellowstone Park, the world's largest super-volcano
caldera. Intel sneaking out of the region says that scientists monitoring the
caldera are concerned, and these buffalo in the park seem to know something's
up:
Again, it seems that animals are well aware of coming events over their human counterparts. All of this, coupled with weather systems gone out of control, massive craters popping up in Siberia
and large lakes appearing in the middle of the desert in Tunisia
and... you get the idea.
Stay tuned here for all the latest news!
