Get On Your Feet: Gloria Estefan to Appear on Glee

Latin superstar singer Gloria Estefan is set to join the cast of the Fox phenomenon Glee, playing the mother of recently out McKinley High student Santana Lopez, played by actress Naya Rivera!

Word has it that the "Coming Out of the Dark" singer's character on the hit show will be that of an accepting, loving mom, after Santana's grandmother was revealed to be homophobic on the "I Kissed a Girl" episode of the series earlier this season. Estefan hinted at her upcoming appearance this week on her twitter feed, posting "Hey M’Tweets! Did anyone see Glee last night? Santana could really use a sympathetic mommy right about now, don’t you think?? Lol!”

Gloria's appearance won't be the only upcoming surprise for Gleeks: fellow Latin superstar Ricky Martin is also slated to appear on the critically and commercially acclaimed series, as the school's super-sexy new Spanish teacher.

He Bangs! American Idol Reject William Hung Working for LA Police Department

He's probably the most famous of all the American Idol rejects, and now he is a Man of the Law!

That's right, wannabe pop superstar William Hung, who infamously belted out his own "special" version of Ricky Martin's hit "She Bangs" on Season Three of Fox's juggernaut talent show American Idol, is now working for the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department as a technical crime analyst. Which means the 28-year-old is doing cool things just like the guys & gals on CSI: Sheboygan and analyzing crime statistics in order to prevent future crimes from happening! (Hung might even make Minority Report a reality one day... it could happen!)

He may not have had what it took to impress Simon, Paula and Randy, but he did score a novelty record deal from the exposure as well as making a cameo appearance in a movie filmed in his native Hong Kong. He has also appeared in a number of television commercials cashing in on this fifteen seconds of fame.

Livin' La Vida Guevara: Ricky Martin Returns to Broadway as Che Guevara in Evita

Superstar singer Ricky Martin is planning a return to the Broadway stage, this time in the iconic role of revolutionary Che Guevara in the upcoming revival of Evita. The 39-year-old Puerto Rican star previously starred in Broadway in the romantic lead role of Marius Pontmercy in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Le Miserable. The play is already in rehearsals and a sneak peek video of the production can be seen over at Perez Hilton. It has been a busy year for the Out and Proud Martin, who has been promoting the paperback version of his bestselling autobiography Me as well as raising his two adorable sons, Matteo and Valentino.
