The old saying goes "People who live in glass houses shouldn't cast stones," and from the looks of this beautiful house designed by world-famous architect Philip Johnson, you certainly wouldn't want to cast stones around... or anything else for that matter. The gorgeous home located on 47 acres of pristine land in New Canaan, CT, was the residence of Johnson and his longtime life partner, the renowned art collector David Whitney. The home has a much-deserved place on National Trust Historic Site list and is the feature of a new book, The Glass House.
