Sprockets: Skinny, Old, Ugly, Grey-Haired Designer Karl Lagerfeld Calls Adele "Fat"

"I'm perfectly perfect in my perfection, Ja?"

Old, scrawny, ugly and grey-haired fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, famous for running off at the mouth, has let it rip once again, calling singing superstar Adele "fat" and Russian men "ugly".

The 2000 78-year-old designer has always been known for his petulant and often controversial outbursts and was his usual demon-possessed self in an interview for European paper The Metro. In the interview, he gives Rolling in the Deep songbird Adele a back-handed compliment by saying, ""The thing at the moment is Adele. She is a little too fat, but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice."

He also insists that US president Barack Obama only occupies the White House because of his wife, Michelle. "My favorite thing about Mrs Obama was when she was asked if her skirt was not too tight and she answered, 'Why, you don't like my big black ass?'"

He insulted millions of Russian men by proclaiming "If I was a woman in Russia I would be a lesbian, as the men are very ugly." He also went on to say that both Greeks and Italians have "really disgusting habits" when quizzed about his thoughts concerning the current European economic crisis.

In a touch of irony possibly lost on the fashionista,  the  pony-tail wearing and fan-carrying Lagerfeld was once a bit of a porker himself, and lost a considerable amount of weight after going on an extreme "diet" (aka gastric bypass surgery) in 2001.

Adele Vs. The Smog Monster: Songbird to Leave London Over Fears That Pollution Is Harming Her Voice

Superstar singer Adele is currently searching for properties to buy outside of London after specialists and doctors suggested leaving the city for fear the metropolis' high air pollution levels would damage her voice. The 23-year-old is said to be looking at properties in the area of West Sussex, located some 40 miles from London. The British capital is known locally by the nickname The Big Smoke.

The singer is still recovering from delicate throat surgery for a hemorrhaged vocal cord performed last month in Boston by Steven Tyler's doctor. She was forced to cancel the rest of her US tour, after having rescheduled many of the dates from a previous cancellation due to health and voice problems. She is reportedly desperate to be well enough to perform on the upcoming Grammy Awards ceremony, where she is nominated for a host of awards, as her 21 album becomes the top selling recording of 2011 in the United States. Her single "Rolling in the Deep" also claims the Number One song of the year honor in both the UK and US.

The singer plans to keep her £3 million London estate, and is said to be looking at properties in the £2-3 million price range in West Sussex and the surrounding area. Ironically, Adele mentioned London's air quality problem in her debut hit "Chasing Pavements" with the line, "I like it in the city when the air is so thick and opaque."

If it's damaging your voice, it's not so great, sweetheart...

Set Fire to the Charts: Adele Conquers the US as Artist of the Year

She may be temporarily out-of-commission due to delicate throat surgery, but superstar singer Adele can claim victory as the top recording artist of 2011!

The chanteuse's sophomore album 21 is the biggest selling album of the year in the US, selling almost five million copies, with over thirteen million copies sold worldwide! The album debuted at Number One on the US album charts, the first time a female British solo artist has achieved the feat. She also has the Number One smash hit of the year, with her incredibly catchy "Rolling in the Deep", which remained the top single in the country for an astonishing eight weeks.

Adele's first live concert performance to be released on DVD, Adele Live at the Royal Albert Hall, has quickly become the biggest selling music video of 2011 since its release in November. In all of Nielsen SoundScan history, NO OTHER ARTIST has topped all three of these year-end charts. An amazing accomplishment for an amazingly talented lady.

Recover soon from your surgery, Adele, as we are all expecting even bigger things from you in 2012...

Adele Cancels Remaining US Concert Dates

Superstar songbird Adele has cancelled the remaining US concert dates on her sold out tour due to  a hemorrhage in her vocal chord, her record label said on Tuesday. The U.K. based singer has been battling a lung infection for the past several weeks, but it looks as if her illness has taken a turn for the worse. "I have absolutely no choice but to recuperate properly and fully, or I risk damaging my voice forever," the 23-year-old singer said in a statement on her official website. Take some time off, get plenty of rest and liquids and return better than ever, Adele.
