Whole Lot of Shaking: Troubling List of Recent Volcanic Activity

Irish Weather Online has published a very concerning list of new and recent volcanic activity being monitored from around the world over the past year. The list of volcanoes showing increasing signs of seismic/harmonic activity is troubling to say the least. The recent surge in activity at El Hierro in the Canary Islands being one of the more troubling hot spots, followed by increased activity at Anak Krakatoa in Indonesia. The most troubling volcano was not even listed in their report, Iceland's Katla. Harmonic tremors have been recorded at Iceland's most feared volcano and there has been a sharp uptick in activity in the past few weeks. Russia's Kamchatka peninsula has three volcanoes showing activity and Chile has two. For a full list, click on the link below:
