White House Reporter: Chelsea Clinton To Report for NBC News

Television network NBC has announced that Chelsea Clinton has been hired to be a full-time special correspondent for their troubled news division.

The daughter of former US President Bill Clinton and current Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will start work "immediately" and will be reporting to work at the Peacock Network as early as today. She will begin work on stories that NBC expects to use as part of its “Making a Difference” series, which runs on its ratings-deprived NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams.

Chelsea. 31, came into public prominence as the young daughter of a popular president and spent her formative years in the White House.  Her parents were very protective of their only child and managed to keep her out of the limelight over the years, especially during the intense Clinton/Monica Lewinsky scandal during the late 90s.

In a prepared statement regarding the new appointment, Clinton said, “I hope telling stories through ‘Making a Difference’ — as in my academic work and nonprofit work — will help me to live my grandmother’s adage of ‘Life is not about what happens to you, but about what you do with what happens to you.’ ”
